Jesper Wieder · About

The person behind the ventures.

I've been building since 1996 — across Denmark, the Nordics, Europe, and the US, and now a growing set of ventures at home. This is less a highlight reel than an explanation of how I think about building things, and why Ventures, Partnerships, and Growth sit together under one platform.

Before Wieder, Inc.

It started with selling, not building.

My first job was selling ads for a local newspaper. It taught me outreach, persistence, and how to read people — who's actually going to say yes, and who's just being polite. My second job was at a global credit rating agency, selling credit reports. That's where my real interest in business took off: how companies operate, what actually drives an industry, how decisions get made behind the scenes.

In 1996, I founded Wieder, Inc. After those two jobs, I was more interested in building things than working inside someone else's structure. My first ventures were in sales and outbound business development: call centre businesses built from scratch in Copenhagen. Simple work, real lessons in how sales infrastructure actually functions.

The fundamentals of business are not complicated. You need to find customers, deliver value, and build trust. Everything else is noise.

In 2004 I co-founded Zangenberg & Partners, one of Denmark's first professional digital marketing agencies, and launched 100% Building Service, an early contractor marketplace. Both taught me the same thing in different industries: the model matters more than the product.

Los Angeles, then back to Copenhagen · 2011 – Present

Operating across borders.

Five years in Los Angeles — building Voizio, an audience engagement platform, and later Wieder Apparel — taught me how to build without a network, in a market that owed me nothing. Back in Copenhagen, I've run multiple ventures in parallel: Nemfisk, Geotech Infoservices, Real Fantasy Teams, FanNgage, and AVETTA Global. The newest is Growth Services — and it closes a circle. Those first businesses were call centres — telemarketing, direct sales, one phone call leading to one meeting and one sale at a time. Growth Services is the same discipline, rebuilt for now — AI agents handle the volume, I handle the judgment, and the outcome is the one I've been chasing since 1996: get in front of the right person and book the meeting.

The common thread across 30 years is not the industry or the product. It is the process — finding the opportunity, building the right structure, and executing with the right people.

How it fits together

Ventures, partnerships, growth.

Wieder, Inc. isn't a holding company that happens to own or co-own several businesses. It's one operating philosophy applied to different problems.

Ventures

I build companies from scratch, or step into existing ones to add growth as a sales accelerator — Geotech, AVETTA, Real Fantasy Teams, FanNgage. I stay hands-on, not just an investor watching from the side.

Partnerships

Almost everything I build, I build with someone — an engineering team in India, operators in Denmark and Sweden, a co-founder. The right partner matters more than the right idea.

Growth

Increasingly, growth itself is the product. Growth Services turns 30 years of sales experience into a repeatable system other companies can use — not just something I apply to my own ventures.

How I work

Not a consultant. A builder.

I get involved — properly

When I join a venture, I am not writing reports from the sidelines. I work on the business — partnerships, deals, hiring, fixing problems.

I move fast

Most opportunities have a window. I make decisions quickly, test fast, and adjust in real time.

I operate across borders

Denmark, the Nordics, Europe, the United States — I understand how markets differ and how to build partnerships that actually work across geographies.

I focus on outcomes

Customers, revenue, growth. Not activity, not decks, not process for its own sake.

Partnerships

Who I want to work with.

Founders with real ambition

People building something serious who want a partner who gets involved — not a mentor who advises and leaves.

Companies entering new markets

Businesses expanding into the Nordics, Europe or the US who need existing relationships and real market knowledge.

Technology partners

Companies needing Nordic market access, commercial leadership, or a strategic partner for software and platforms.

Interesting problems

Sometimes the best conversations start with "I have this challenge and I don't know who to talk to."

Beyond business

The rest of who I am.

CrossFit

I train regularly. Not for the aesthetics — for the discipline of showing up when you don't feel like it.

SMVdanmark

I serve on the representative board for the self-employed — strengthening conditions for small and medium-sized businesses in Denmark.
